EMS Senior Business Analyst – Process Design

Our client is a leaded listed organisation and they are currently undergoing a whole revamp of EMS.

As Senior Business Analyst you will report to the Manager on a variety of functional, analytical and technical activities including process design, process creation and maintenance of documentation, giving guidance on Business Value Management, measurement and continual improvement practices.
 
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Supporting business users on functions, disciplines, standards and procedures
• Business Value management and measurement
• Writing Business Requirement and Functional Specifications
• Liaise with the internal subject matter experts, assist in the design of procedures and processes
• Provide guidance on Business Value Management, measurement and continual improvement practice
• Recommend and propose new solutions / functionality
• Assist with redevelopment of dashboards and analytics to support reporting against performance requirements
• Facilitation of workshops and meeting
• Maintaining traceable matrix between interdependent EMS components
• Provide guidance on the use of compliance module in SAP, as well as development of dashboards and analytics to support reporting

 
Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in a related discipline Business or IT 
• 5 + years of experience developing process documentation
• 5 + years of using Visio
• Previous experience in Project Delivery, planning, negotiation in risk/issue management
• Demonstrated ability to analyze user and business needs and create a coherent set of deliverables
• An understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and reporting technologies
• Deep understanding of process workflows and different levels of documentation
• Experience in applying agile, iterative development techniques (estimation, acceptance, prioritisation and workshop facilitation)
• Understanding of business intelligence, data warehouse and reporting technologies including their development and implementation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail
