Consultant – Business Development focus

The role

We are seeking to appoint a consultant with a strong business development background and track record in sales to lead activity in our Perth office. You will play a key role in the growth of our WA business at an exciting time in the energy and carbon field.

In this role you will leverage your network and our market leading reputation to drive sales across all of our service areas in the Western Australian market. We expect that half of your time will be devoted to business development and account management with the remainder comprising project management, delivery and thought leadership.

This role is suited to an up and coming business development professional from a consulting background who has a passion for diagnosing client needs and then designing and delivering a leading-edge consulting solution.  
 
To be successful you will need to

• demonstrate business development success and practical implementation of account management approaches
• possess a network of West Coast contacts
• be able to identify client specific approaches that can create an advantage over competitors
• be able to leverage the knowledge and experience of Energetics into the WA marketplace
• be able to develop and maintain productive client relationships
• have a passion for working with large organisations to help them understand the opportunities in responding to climate change have experience related to energy and carbon management.
