PR Assistant – Projects

The Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a PR Assistant to work on various upcoming corporate projects. Reporting to the Corporate Project Manager, you will immediately start working on opportunities for a high-profile event, taking place overseas.
In addition, your days will be kept busy with the following responsibilities:

  • Advise internal departments on PR and communications strategies which will achieve positive external coverage of their initiatives
  • Prepare written copy for emails, press releases, internal and external newsletters, website, intranet etc
  • Provide advice to different business units in relation to external affairs 
  • Liaise and manage local and international media, developing steadfast relationships along the way
  • Monitor social media accounts as required
  • Work on communication outputs for key projects across the business 
  • Manage the website and implement a digital media strategy
  • Assisting with external events PR and crisis management 
  • Contribute to half and full year reporting and investor events 

About You

Ideally, you will have a diverse skill-set which includes experience in PR and Communications. You will also possess:

  • Impeccable written communications skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a diverse group of people
  • Creative thinking and the ability to identify new opportunities
  • Exposure to international projects would be ideal
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time.
