12 Mental Health Wellness Tips For Quarantine

These times we are experiencing right now are very uncertain with a lot of fear. But staying on top of our mental health during times of distance and isolation is extremely important for everyone. Here are 13 tips to help you during COVID-19:

1. Stick to a normal routine. Go to sleep and wake up at a reasonable time.

2. Get outside at least once a day, for at least thirty minutes for a walk or exercise in your garden (if you’re lucky enough to have one). 

3. Reach out to others at least once a day.

4. Stay hydrated and eat well. 

5. Find your own retreat space. 

6. Lower expectations and practice self-acceptance. 

7. Take notice to all the good in the world and how others are helping one another.

8. Help others. Try and find ways, both big and small, to give back to others. 

9. Start a creative project you’ve always wanted to do.

10. Find lightness and humour in each day. 

11. Reach out for help if you need to – everyone is here for each other.

12. Remind yourself daily that this is only temporary and won’t be forever.
