Outplacement programs for the Exiting Employees

For one-on-one situations, Challenge Consulting has developed three levels of individual outplacement support. Challenge Consulting can also tailor a specific programme which fits your organisation’s budget as well as ensuring that each exiting employee’s unique needs are met.

Bronze Program

Provides 5 hours of support from a qualified Career Transitioning Coach. The focus of the Bronze Programme is to quickly get your exiting employee on the right job search path with the skills needed for re-employment, including:

Career Transitioning Counselling

  • to refocus energy and action towards the future 

Resume Preparation

  • tailored to the specific positions being sought
  • coaching on how to prepare professional cover letters and adapt resumes to enhance short-list chances

Interview Coaching

  • to help understand the interview process and to know how to best sell individual experience at interview
  • one-on-one practice to sharpen interview skills

Silver Program

Provides 10 hours of support from a qualified Career Transitioning Coach. The focus of the Silver Programme is to assist your exiting employee re-assess his/her career direction and develop the skills to manage an effective career and job search into the future, including:

Career Transitioning Counselling

  • to refocus exiting employees’ energy and action towards the future

Career Assessment and Guidance

  • assistance to explore future career options and opportunities

  • tailored to the specific positions being sought

Provides 20 hours of support from a qualified Career Transitioning Coach. The focus of the Gold Programme is to provide your exiting employee the highest level of personalised mentoring and coaching to fulfil his/her career aspirations, including:

  • to refocus exiting employees’ energy and action towards the future

Career Assessment and Guidance

  • assistance to analyse individual strengths, future career options and motivations, and develop an action plan to realise his/her career potential

Pre-Outplacement Consulting Services

Challenge Consulting is here to help your organisation manage the difficult process of informing your employees of impending redundancies by:

• assessing the extent of your exiting employees grievance to the redundancy announcement
• consulting with your organisation on how to tailor and cushion the predicted impact of redundancy-related grievances on your exiting employees and continuing employees
• providing you with recommendations for best practice redundancy policies, procedures and code of conduct
• being available immediately to counsel your exiting employees
