Energetics is Australia's leading specialist consultancy in energy and carbon management. We work with ASX200 companies and all levels of government to provide advice on climate change, sustainability and energy management challenges.  

We are seeking to appoint Graduate Consultants into our Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth offices (with Sydney to follow soon). These are outstanding opportunities for recent graduates (up to 3 years of experience) to build the expertise required to deliver a wide range of our solutions across all sectors of the Australian economy. If you are passionate about using your hard-earned qualifications to make a real difference to reduce Australia’s carbon emissions this is the role for you.

Over time we aim to build your capability across the spectrum of our service offerings, including:

• Providing analysis and advice on the risks to business under different climate change scenarios and make recommendations for adaptation strategies
• Supporting clients in accessing funding for energy reduction projects including government funding and incentive schemes, third party finance and internal capital spend
• Assisting with the delivery of energy procurement and carbon strategies from standard procurement to progressive purchasing to power purchase agreements and beyond
• Undertaking site assessment and developing business cases to maximise the performance of new or existing sites, including as renewable onsite power generation, energy storage systems, energy efficient lighting and hot water systems, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), and other low carbon technologies.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Recently completed their degree. What discipline? Most are interesting for us, including Engineering, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Commerce and Law
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills that have been used to undertake analysis of varying sizes of data sets
• A passion for improving the energy and carbon performance of the Australian economy
• Excellent communication skills
