We are seeking to appoint Graduate Consultants into our Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane offices These are outstanding opportunities for recent graduates (up to 3 years of experience) to build the expertise required to deliver a wide range of our solutions across all sectors of the Australian economy. If you are passionate about using your hard-earned qualifications to make a real difference to reduce Australia’s carbon emissions this is the role for you.
Over time we aim to build your capability across the spectrum of our service offerings, including:
- Implementing energy management solutions to maximise the performance of new or existing sites, such as renewable onsite power generation, energy efficient lighting and hot water systems, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), water capture, saving and storage systems
- Providing analysis and advice on the risks to business under different climate change scenarios and make recommendations for adaptation strategies
- Developing business cases for funding and financing of energy efficiency improvements through various schemes: Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), Energy Upgrade Agreements, Energy Performance Contracting and treasury loans
- Undertaking Science Based Target development projects. These provide organisations with a defined roadmap by specifying how much and how quickly they need to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions
- Assisting with the delivery of energy procurement and carbon strategies from standard procurement to progressive purchasing to power purchase agreements and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Recently completed their Engineering (or similar) degree
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills that have been used to undertake analysis of varying sizes of data sets. This skill is essential to the role and will be tested during the interview process
- A passion for improving the energy and carbon performance of the Australian economy
- Outstanding communication skills
