This workshop is designed for everyone who needs to develop truly professional presentation skills. Presentation situations range from conferences and industry events to new business pitches and smaller scale client briefings.Learning outcomes
- Understanding the impact of different personality types and communication styles
- Knowing your audience
- Tailoring your presentation to your audience preferences
- Knowing what you want to achieve from the presentation
- Developing techniques to overcome anxiety, control your nerves and pace yourself when you are presenting
- Understanding what you have to do to present with impact in order to win over your audience
- Handling audience participation, interjection and questions with a positive, confident and constructive way
- Undertaking constructive reviews and critique of presentations
- Developing and using checklists to set up and review presentations
- Developing an individual presentation skills action plan
